I had a wonderfully relaxing weekend in Columbus. Now I am back in Medina and bored already. There is NO ONE here for me. I am excited for tomorrow - going to take my brothers out since they start school on Wednesday. The rest of the week I'll be teaching more music and doing band bitch work for both of my parents at their schools. It's ALL I have to do here other than packing and practicing. And watching some tv (this is a rare occurance for me!)
Speaking of which, I need to put some laundry away and motivate myself to learn a fast, technical etude so I can kick ass at auditions in 4 weeks.
That's right - I move down to Columbus in...25 DAYS (I just looked at a calendar and counted. 3.5 weeks. Keep me sane, help me make it...
I am going to watch "I Love the 90s" now, then maybe practice and clean. Party and a half, aye?

Two things:

1. Had to drive my brother to cleveland this morning for a trumpet lesson. His girlfriend has one right after him and we saw her mom in the hall. She said, "I need a cigarette and coffee." I looked at her, flashed my pack from my purse and said, "That's all I have wanted all morning." Smoked a cigarette with my brother's girlfriend's mom. She looked so relieved when I said that, too. It made me happy in a funny way.
