On my mind
It might just be my age right now - but I feel like being a human is insane.
For the past 6 months, everything felt flat at one point or another. Like I went from this incredible 3 dimensional realm called "life as I know it" into this shallow thing. The tallest buildings barely reach the sky to me.
I've never been one for finding the appropriate words to express my sentiments - and now, more than ever, I feel like only sounds can do it.
PEOPLE blow my mind. As a race, we have come incredibly far, and yet - sometimes it seems like we aren't shit. We are - but we aren't.
And as far as playing well with my peers...I had this thought last night:
I think the only time I will be at one with the people is when I die with them.
My contrapositive friend said this:
I think the only time I will feel comfortable with people is when I live with them.
