I've been feeling a lack of motivation lately but when I saw the dragonfly photos @episkey posted yesterday I got motivated to post some nature and wildlife photos I've taken this month. These are from trips to the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, the Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge, and High Falls State Park.

The month of April has seen a lot of wonderful sets from Suicide Girls and Hopefuls. Here are some of my favorites:

Radiant by @midna_ - Radiant is a proper name for this set. Midna's smile is indeed radiant and it's just so infectious. This set is fun, happy, and sexy; it's hard not to crack a smile when you view it.

Birthplace by @saria...

I made a late afternoon trip to the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge this afternoon and it turned out to be a good one. Birds seen today were: Anhingas, a Black Necked Stilt, Blue Winged Teal, Glossy Ibis, Great Blue Herons, Great Egrets, a Northern Shoveler, Ospreys, Snowy Egrets, a Wood Duck (unfortunately no photos - ran out of good light) and the usual huge numbers...

I'm just mesmerized by @ralts Member Review set Melancholia. She is simply beautiful; those big brown eyes and lovely smile are angelic. That smile in photo #28 is infectious; I can't help but smile when I look at it and I'm not one prone to smile a lot. As far as the photography goes, I love the rooftop setting. The sunset bathes Ralts in...

The next week and a half to two weeks will be pretty busy so I probably won't have the chance for very many trail walks but I got the chance to make one in the Altamaha Waterfowl Management Area near Darien, GA and another in the Savannah National Wildlife Drive over the last few days.

It's only half-way through March but it has been a bonus month for photo sets here on Suicide Girls. Here are some of my favorites so far:

Affinity by @kendall - I'm always happy to see a new set from one of my two favorite redheads (the other being @kemper) and it was worth the wait for this one. What is there not to like...

Today was World Wildlife Day so I visited the Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge for a few hours this morning. It was a great morning to walk around the refuge's ponds and I ended up seeing the first Wood Storks I've seen this year (it looks like they're starting to arrive at the refuge; later in the year they'll be there in big numbers) and...

The migratory birds are moving on from the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge and despite the cold on Friday there has been a general warming trend marking the coming of spring. With that, the alligators and turtles were more prevalent on my most recent trip to the Savannah NWR. First up are a couple of Anhingas (female in top photo, male in bottom photo)

Friday found me with absolutely no shits left to give after a couple of weeks that I would just as soon forget. This morning I was awake by 3am and worked on a project I haven't been able to do anything with for the last week. After spending a few hours on it and having breakfast I got the urge to go to the Savannah...

I used to hunt with guns, but now I hunt with a camera. It's not that I have anything against hunting (if you're making use of the meat and not just trophy hunting), there was nothing like a good morning in the woods. As time as gone on, I've lost access to some of the land I used to hunt and I just don't feel...

Great pictures!

I'm perfectly fine with hunting for food, though I prefer hunting with camera as well. :) When people hunt for fun and trophies is when I just don't understand. I cringe and feel bad even when I have to kill a spider that I can't safely remove, or even a cockroach. I'm not sure that anyone who hunts for fun is a normal, stable person.

Thanks you. Let's hope you like the rest of the set as much. :)
