It's been a few months since I wrote one of these posts; I'd intended to do one each month but I got slack or lacked motivation and didn't do it. For now on, I want to pick four or five photo sets each month as my monthly favorites and write a few words about why I enjoyed them. By no means are these all of my favorites of the month, just the top four.
In the Kitchen with @tanyabat by @r_girardi - I was blown away when I saw this set in Member Review; both it and Tanyabat became instant favorites. She's stunningly beautiful and incredibly sultry. Her expressions and her eyes pull you in and make you want to join her in the kitchen. There's no disputing she's a beautiful woman, but those eyes and expressions are what makes this an extraordinary set. It is a magnificent job by both model and photographer! I can't wait to see more from Tanybat!
Burgundy with @janesinner by @puffin - Janesinner is one one my favorite Suicide Girls and this set was another that became an instant favorite. It really is great pinup photography, proving simplicity is the most beautiful by capturing a beautiful woman in a simple poolside setting. The lack of clutter puts Janesinner and her vintage style swimwear front and center. The whole thing really has a classic pinup vibe to it. I'm becoming a fan of Puffin's photography, she's shot a number of sets that I've enjoyed recently, including @riae in Blue.
Burning Desire with @mille by @paloma - This is a perfectly titled set; if you don't have a burning desire for Mille when viewing it, you need to check your pulse. This is another example of great pinup/glamour photography - a beautiful woman, lingerie, and a couch - you don't really need much more, do you? The classic black on a curvy redhead is magnificent in itself, but Mille's big brown eyes and the use of the hat adds some terriffic touches. Mille might have become a Suicide Girl only this year, but she's already become one of my favorites.
Nomad Caravan with @Stormyent by @gresler - I love this set because after following Stormyent's blog posts, Instagram posts, and Twitter posts, it seems that Gresler has wonderfully captured her personality. This set captures her sultry side and most importantly her playful side. Some of my favorite photos of the set are the ones that capture the sparkle in her eyes and that infectious smile... and how can you not smile when you see that photo of her upside down sticking her tongue out at the camera!? This is definitely one to pull up when you're feeling down and need a pick-me-up.
