Today was World Wildlife Day so I visited the Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge for a few hours this morning. It was a great morning to walk around the refuge's ponds and I ended up seeing the first Wood Storks I've seen this year (it looks like they're starting to arrive at the refuge; later in the year they'll be there in big numbers) and a total of 61(!) alligators, mostly small ones just a few feet long.
