i'm tired. i've been working a lot and haven't been playing music a lot and this leads to insanity. i'm pulling six day weeks, which isn't the worst thing in the world, but you neglect your personal time. i try to make up for it by writing in my notebook whenever i can. the entries are hurried, harried and don't really go anywhere - committed to paper usually while i'm going somewhere....mostly you feel the subway doors opening and closing in the subtext.

i have tonight off, so i went around the corner for a turkish coffee, read a little bit of a collection of buddhist essays, tried to fix my broken kitchen sink, to no avail...my toolbox is way uptown in asstraffic's apartment, so lacking the proper tools, i created a mess. oh well.

i'm planning on attending the open call on the 14th...however i may get there really late since i'm unavoidably stuck at work until midnite or so. is it possible that this thing will still exist in any form by the time i arrive? if so, will i even have the nerve to introduce myself to anyone?

i was going to visit asstraffic in japan during the week of the 16th of this month. unfortunately, i cannot get the dates off from work. this really bummed me out. i haven't been to japan in 7 years and it would be a great visit. i also have a couple of japanese friends who were looking forward to me visiting them. but i can't do anything about it except accept that i can't do anything about it. that was a fun and confusing sentence constructed on purpose.

i will be in france for a week starting the 29th of this month, so there is some vacation time to look forward to, just not with the asstraffic, who is cooler anywhere than paris is alone.
