I finally after living in LA for 3+ years got the call... the "pack a bag...I'll be at your house in 20 minutes, we're going to TJ..." I must say for somone that doesn't drink or take any recreational narcotics, I really enjoyed myself. I had an amazing time. I feel like I know my way around enough to pollute the lives of others with similar trips. Did not attend the fabled donkey show...but not for a lack of people trying to drag us to them.
The whole thing helped me bounce back for the near nervous breakdown I almost had at work on Thursday for no real good reason, which really isn't my style. Still getting my bearings back post-break-up and the job is a little tense. The ex used to magic powers to decipher that I was about ready to loose my mind and randomly IMed me... she helped talked me off the ledge a bit, she was always amazing at that.
Work continues on...but the next few weeks should be interesting with various diversions...friends coming to town, a trip to Florida for a last minute wedding... if you can't be happy, stay busy enough to not notice...right?
I think I'm taking over the horror group from Obsidian... I'm really interested to take a greater role in the SG community...should be a cool step. I attended my first SGLA get together this weekend... it was cool to meet a bunch of people I'd seen online for years.
It's late, I've been up to late already, and I have to be in Malibu way too early tomorrow...

I envy your tijuana adventure I always wanted to go but never got to...
Do you have any suggestions of how to make it from Lexington at 8 am to Morehead at 4 PM and what to do in that time span...I thought about going to carter caves but then I remembered that I have a fear of being crushed to death in a cave...I've only been through salt peter like a bajillion times but it's looses some of it's lackluster...
perhaps some hiking around cave run..
