Well Portland was awesome! The Easyriders show I went to actually sucked, but the rest of the trip made up for it. We hung out in the downtown area (where our hotel was) and the ladies got to shop during the day, and we hit some cool resteraunts and clubs at night. We caught a drag queen show at Darcelle's that was hilarious, and alot of fun. We also checked out a club called Dante's that is known for it's music scene, and it did not dissapoint. The two bands we caught were really great. The Portland music scene is realy starting to take off. I think it is going to surpass Seattle here in the near future. We all ended up really hammered. Some how we ended up down at Mary's, one of Portland's oldest strip clubs where we closed the place down. That is basically a nutshell version of a VERY full week-end. The funny thing about all this, is I have to go back down there this Saturday!
While we were down there, we checked out the local Harley dealer. My friend Dave who was with me, already has an 02 H-D Fatboy, but has been jealous every since I got my 07 Road King with the Screamin' Eagle motor. It bugs him that he can't keep up with me. A fact that I contantly remind him of- I constantly refer to his bike as "The Gordita", spanish for fat girl. He hates it. So anyways, this dealer had an 07 just like mine, with the same engine! He ended up working out a deal to buy it, so now the two of us are gonna run down and pick it up.
