Hi Beauties!
I'm sorry it's been a while, AGAIN. It's been a hectic month for me, and I apologise for the essay I'm about to post! (I promise there will be pictures too!)
So I've known for a few months that this month I'd need to move house, this was always going to be a good thing because I wanted to move closer to work and also closer to the areas I like to go out in, have the best gigs, bars, food, etc! Fast forward to about the second week in Jan, and I've started applying for viewings etc. I find a place thats decent, a lot cheaper than my old place, and not far from work. I offer to take the room straight away, and get told that I need to pay a holding deposit (very normal in London, so that the agency can take the adverts down etc). For some reason I had a weird feeling in my gut and something didnt feel quite right, but I ignored them and put it down to fear of the unknown and moving to a new place.
Last week (a week before I was due to move out) I get a text saying that the room is being taken and that I can either move my deposit to another room, or they will refund me. I decided that a refund seemed like the best option and sent my bank details. Since then I've heard nothing and they've been reading and ignoring my texts. LUCKILY I found a new place straight away, thats even cheaper, nicer, and in a better area. So while I'm still waiting for my money to be returned (I just sent them a message saying that I've reported them to Citizens Advice and accused them of fraud, in the hopes that it'll scare them into refunding it) I've found a pretty good silver lining.
My bank account is scary low right now, BUT LOOK AT THE LIGHT IN THIS ROOM:
I told you there'd be pics! Not sure why they're in reverse order but we'll go with that!
Whilst all this is going down I'm trying to study and work full time so I am a big stressygorl right now. Tell me nice things, send memes, buy my prons, follow my Twitter and tell me I'm cute on a regular basis pls.
Rebs xxx
