Ok @rambo and @missy, I chose to do a tribute blog homework this week in honor of my dear friend @e_nigma. 2 1/2 weeks ago, we shot our third and sadly final set together. Last week, he passed away unexpectedly. I was devastated when I got the news, and I'm still in tears and disbelief. I only knew him for a year and a half, but during that time, he introduced me to some amazing hopefuls that I will always have a lifelong friendship with. And every shoot was an adventure. From our first mini shootfest, with the crazy lady who kept asking if we were shooting a porno, and our code name for her was "big blue bird" 😂 To me convincing him to shoot a set with me on the railroad tracks, where 5 cops showed up as I was butt ass naked, trying not to laugh as I put my coat on while we explained to the cops what we were doing 😂 Thankfully they were really cool about it and told us to carry on. Then our third and final set a couple weeks ago, where I dragged him into the woods to this creepy ass trailer that had been abandoned for years. As we were leaving that location, we discovered that someone had made a cross out of pine branches and had placed it upside down at the back of the trailer. We were like, that's some Blair Witch shit right there and started laughing. A couple days later, he sent me the unedited pics from our set, and let me tell you, I absolutely loved them. He always knew how to make me and my friends feel comfortable while we were shooting. A few days later, he was gone. So many girls missed out on making magic with him, cuz he knew just how to capture what the models wanted to portray in their sets. Once I go thru the 200 pics from that last set, I will be posting it as a memorial to him on SG. While it's heartbreaking that I won't be able to submit it to member review as his last set for SG, I'm glad that I can post the pics to my profile in his memory. He was a great artist and friend and he will truly be missed by those that knew and loved him. And one last note, this morning I took my dogs for a walk and we passed by the creepy ass trailer. It was overcast, yet the sun was shining on that upside down cross, and I felt like Ed was telling me he's ok now. Rest easy and fly high my friend. Til we meet again ✌🏻️
