I was just browsing through my pictures. Man, I need to get back into taking photos. I really had fun with my camera when I first bought it. Here's one of Rebel on his old (now thankfully gone) couch. Yes, his couch. Trust me, you wouldn't want to sit on it...
He's such a handsome little man.
I really only bought the camera so I could be taking pictures of him. I'm still sick over the fact that all of his young puppy pictures were on my old phone which was lost/stolen. I had one in which he was so small he had an old pillow as a dog bed. This was when I first got him and we were still driving around the country in the 18-wheeler. Had some of him in the snow... bleh...
Anyway, I got some videos and some pics but I just rarely think of picking up the camera and taking pictures. I was really getting into it, experimenting with lighting and exposure times. Putting different things over my flash to get different effects... I really wanted to get a nicer (Rebel T1i) DLSR camera and a fancy flash for it. This one I have is pretty good, but it leaves me wanting to do more. But chances are I'd fork out the cash for the Cannon and a couple lenses and then forget all about it in a month or two. Meh... one day I may still get it along with some filters, flash, etc...
Not really sure what I'm going to do for the rest of the day today. I still got two discs from Netflix that I need to watch so I can send them back tomorrow. I watched "Words and Music" yesterday. Not really too impressed. I thought it was going to have more Judy Garland and Gene Kelly in it than it did. Turns out they just had cameo rolls. Not a bad movie, but I found myself just wanting to get through it. Although, it may have been more me than the movie. I just really haven't been in a movie watching mood lately. Sucks when that's the only thing you really have to do.
Not sure if my hispaniolic friend is coming over today or not. I wish he would give me a better idea of when he's going to come by. Oh, well. I need to clean house today. I've been saying that for so long. I was so good at cleaning up when I first moved in here. The place was disgusting when I first moved in. Now it's just dirty and smells like dog. Not so bad since I threw out the old couches. Those damn things held a powerful stank that I couldn't seem to get out. This one I have now is better, but could use a cleaning. Mainly it's my floors. All tile. I really don't like mopping. I just use a dust mop and get up all the dog hair and dust. I really need to mop.
I really need a maid.
Starting to get hungry... gotta fight it. Ate an egg with a piece of bread around 8 this morning. It's almost 1 now. I'm gonna skip lunch. Feeling kinda bad about the Yaki Udon from yesterday. Then I killed the squid salad last night, too. I think I'm gonna go through my pantry and throw out everything that's not healthy. Well, maybe not throw out. I'll give it to my mom, I guess. That means I need to go to the store soon. Bleh... I hate shopping. I gotta cook the pork ribs in my fridge before they go bad. Probably just bake them and have it with brown rice. I need to start cutting meat out of my diet, at least cut a lot of meat out of my diet. But I gotta cook these ribs and then two chicken breasts in my freezer first.
I'm gonna look good in that bikini next summer, just you wait.
Oh, I just saw this for the first time. Apparently it was a deleted scene from one of my favorite movies, Easter Parade with Fred Astaire and Judy Garland. Placing it in juxtaposition with "Get Happy" from "Summer Stock" (another great one!) she did with Gene Kelly. Apparently the costume was designed by none other than Vincente Minnelli himself. I'm not 100% sure of that, but I believe it to be true. I know he was originally slated to be the director, but for one reason or another it fell through. I plan on possibly having Judy tattooed on my arm at some point in this outfit, along with daughter Liza Minnelli from "Cabaret" on the other arm. Anyway, enjoy:
