There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away
We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, now, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

So this weekend looks like it might be pretty cool. I hope to get my drink on. That'll be fun.
Me and SexyBeast rented a few movies. Hopefully we'll get to watch them together soon. He's sleeping now, so I think I may just watch my Blue Man Group DVD... or maybe a Zep DVD... I dunno. We got Coffy, Hunting Humans, and Dead Alive. I've been wanting him to see Dead Alive along with some of Peter Jacksons other early films. Also, I want to find Cemetary Man. And Samurai X (OAV)...
I'm really embarassed about something right now. And it really sucks. I've been playing guitar for over ten years. I've been working on guitars for maybe three or four. I've also been in the same band for ten years (with a few side projects here and there)
That said... I can't remember how to string the goddamn thing.
That's fucking pathetic. The thing is, I've always let my soundman or some other person put my strings on. I rarely have to do it myself. I used to be able to do it, no problem. I've done it many, many times over the years. I've been away from my axe for about a year now and I havn't strung it in even longer. I thought I remembered how to lock the string in, but alas I can't seem to get it done properly.
I mean, I can get it strung; it's just not professional. It'll slip. I have a locking nut, so slippage isn't a huge problem, but it's still not good. I think I could get away with a sloppy stringing, but I don't want to.
It's so embarassing to have to go to Guitar Center and get someone to do this for me but I really want my Warlock back.
And I still never got my damn amp fixed. I'm really missing that. I need to do it before I spend too much of the money that I have. I don't know excatly when I'm going to start working (hopefully not too long from now) but I need to make this money stretch and I've already spent a good bit.
I could just hook some headphones up to my GNX, but my good headphones broke. All I've got are these cheap $15 headphones. Or I could run through the entertainment system speakers...
I miss my G-20... such a good sounding little amp. I love the reverb on it.
