I realize that this title can be a bit misleading, considering I am far from a virgin. However, I am one of SG's newest hopefuls; therefore, I'm still trying to figure out how to pop my cherry. My set, "A bright, sun shiny day" comes out in four months, 3 weeks.
If I wasn't an artist who was spending most of her free time making Christmas presents, I'd probably spend most of my time navigating this site, looking for new comrades. Recently, I did make a new friend on this site, and he encouraged me to write a blog, and introduce myself. Brace yourselves.
In my real life, I live in Philadelphia; the city of brotherly love. I've visited a good amount of states and countries, and Philly is unlike no other. The people are rude, the cheesesteaks are delicious, and the art industry booms here. I'm comfortable walking out of my house in rainboots in july because no one gives a shit. I love everything about this city, and I feel that it loves me back.
I have alot of jobs, and I always have. I bore easily. I'm an artist/custom baker. I'm also: a student, waitress, hostess, caretaker to my ill mother, and a cat mom. I spend most of my time making pop, or horror art, and I also vend my creations at conventions and such. I also, have two persian cats, and they are my life. Mr. Moo is handi-cat, and is lacking an eye. They're the best!
Why do I want to become a suicide girl? While most young girls played with Barbies, I played with my parent's pin up magazines. I was obsessed with nude pin-ups, and I knew that one day I had to try it. When I was eight my mother sent me to school in a raunchy Marilyn Monroe costume with plastic fake boobs for our Halloween parade; I got sent home. As I grew older, and began decorating my body with permanent art, I decided that I'd try my hand at pin-up modeling. And here I am.
I've never modeled before; well, not for a camera. I'm not so sure I'm that good at it, so I could use all of the help I can get. So, if you have any pointers, or suggestions I'd be more than grateful to hear them. My photographer said I did a great job on my first shoot, and she thinks I have great potential. I'm grateful for this awesome opportunity, and I hope you all like what you see.
