More things change...the more they revert to normal... The centre holds for another day...

We had this young ( Around my age... which is young for the Opera Crews ) crew... which totally rocked... We were in the grove and there were 5 board ops and lead hands in the grip dept. As we busted ass without sweating, and finished before the Carps got thier bigger pieces set up. Of course...they cut back to 4 plus heads, and I was junior again... So i had an option... the day off or two, or move to Carps (Carpenter crew...)

Being left handed... I suck at cutting anything. Plus, the AC is this guy who just likes to bark at people to make himself feel better. And I loath people like that...especially when I see him act all nice to his son when he visits... or some superior. And then treat his juniors like inferiors.

I didn't decide to work in theatre so I could be treated like I was some swabbie in the navy... and I have a fridge or 2 to move W/ my roomate... So, I bailed... Knowing once the show is up I'd be cut anyway. And there's a chance to work on Companie Marie Chouinard next week( as it conflicts work - wise with the Show crew guys on the opera.

Cool wierd performance art/modern dance in march... count me in.
