British Racing Green Leather Motorcycle Jacket....
How come when your out of work the best things show up....That's the problem with unemployment, when you're not working but your mind is racing.
Sadly I'm a Gemini. So my mind tends to race in two different directions at any one time if not focused on something.
This is one of the reasons I think I'm still single at age 41. I OVER think, while Double thinking approaching any women, regardless of the situation. Which usually means I'm at least a beat behind other guys who focus on meeting THAT woman.
Or, if I actually end up being the guy they flirt with... I'm too busy trying to figure out if they are the ONE. Unless I'm drunk - Which in that case I'm flirting well, but can't work any seduction out of so many reasons which are almost impossible to go into depth here. ( Fear of being more into her, than she is into me and getting hurt...not being able to perform ...her freaking out once I do convince her to go somewhere private...The possibility she's not just cool freaky on the outside, but super scary- freaky on the inside. ) AND... that's a short list.
If I actually made it though the above, I'd have the distraction of a relationship. And when I'm in casual call - no show mode I'd focus on her. But, like all single guys there's an aspect of navel-gazing ( or slightly lower... ) when we're out of work. As work provides that distraction and money... and if you like your work ( as I do ) a sense of accomplishment and self esteem.
Out of work... I fall into vices... like vintage clothing shops. Every time it's the same situation. I walk into a store and they've just hung a wonderful British Racing Green Leather Motorcycle Jacket on the tailors dummy. ( seriously... like right in front of me. - If I was a woman, this would be known as shopping Karma ) I remove it from said dummy, of course to find the jacket fits like a glove. Of course it's the most expensive one in the store. But... its BRITISH RACING GREEN !!! And it fits... its vintage - so it's unique.
And I'm 400 dollars closer to the poor house.
But, I rationalize that, Saint's Patrick's Day is comming up. It's still just me I have to provide for. I have retirement savings and semi regular income. Which is just off temporarily while the economy is down. So, in effect I'm doing my best to help prop up the sagging Canadian economy. While purchasing recycled green products... that just happen to be a lovely, DEEP Forest green color. ( which I've noticed in the past, has a strange blushing effect on cute scottish Red Heads... My other vice. )

Congrats on your new purchase. Re: still single at 41 - have you come close to settling down a few times? Or has it just never worked out?
