i remember all of that... in fact, i was doing laundry when the very first sg episode aired... laffed my ass off for days. we haven't had cable in like 5 years so we mooched off all our friends when we lived in atl... now we don't have friends to mooch from here - if we want to see cable we have to go to the mrs.' mom's house - ick.
i was highly pissed when they canned home movies. that was one of the more brilliant shows they've ever come up with. yet they think crap like catdog is good. i also liked the oblongs an awful lot. don't know if that's still on, but since it was actually good i'll wager that they've canned it as well.
i actually used to work 58 feet from ted turner's office. i also went to university with some of that lot that runs cn/williams street now. they were good people back then, but now they think they're all a lot cooler than they really are. in fact, man or astroman? still owes me 40 quid for a photo shoot i did in 1995. i'm not gonna let that go.
