current location: a couch fort made of...couch like things

current music: someone played Oh God on their tivo and fell asleep.

current goal in life: to retrieve the remote control, and watch cartoons instead of John Denver.

current thing stopping me from it: this damn couch fort.

I leave for the familiar flight from burbank to jfk, in a few hours, and for the first time in a long time i'm pretty sad about leaving the west coast
and despite the fact that i only have 8 days of youth left, im feel unusually optimistic.



when i get home, these are things i need to be reminded to do before i lose motivation:

+submit pictures for fstop and filtered magazines in hopes of having it published
+paint dead trees onto my bedroom walls, because dead trees are beautiful
+send a very important mix cd to a very important friend
+get myself a mailbox, since i havent actually received any of my mail in months.

what i loved today in Los Angeles:
+2 redbulls+2 rockstar drinks for breakfast
+chuck dukowski, darryl jenifer, henry rollins, and chloe st reagan having a Paquito Mas dinner.
+no traffic throughout the city, all day
+playing Iron Maiden while driving
+going to Open Houses in Hollywood hills to eat the cookies
+buying 5 dvds, 2 cds, and a bubble tea and not breaking a $50
+chuckling with friends while watching Flight 93 in the Arclight
+building indoor forts
+overhearing the word 'canoodling' being used in a serious conversation

a lovely bird sent me an email the other day, with a link to this.
i'm sure theres nothing behind that 'members only' thing, but its very thoughtful anyways
i blushed at my monitor...and carved an ego point onto my arm.
