Crikey, is it that far into January already!
For those that can stomach it this late, Happy New Year
Under three months notice to work before I can leave my current job. A big voluntary redudancy payment makes it my choice and a nice soft landing. I am looking for jobs almost anywhere in the UK (or worldwide!) although not that hard
I've also been arranging some long overdue training. That's forced a mad two week's schedule, with over a thousand miles driving and four different hotels. I'm calling it the "No sleep'till Pymouth" tour, but that's coz I bought the Motorhead live album of a similar name when it first came out
So I write this from a hotel in Birmingham (UK Midlands, not Alabama) after a frantic day demonstrating to the public at a big show. Up at 5am this morning, tired already and one more today tomorrow. Red Bull is the only way I'm gonna make it...
I'm not entirely sure what the future bring for me...new job, maybe travelling, moving if I have to. I'm a positive optomistic guy, so it's all looking good. Just not sure where SG as a site and community fits into it all. Of late I feel like I "belong" here less, partly because some good friends have left.
So something to contemplate on those long dark motorway drives.
For those who envy my concert going, next gig is the Kerrang Tour later this month. A rocking line up...Coheed and Cambira, Fightstar (we've all moved on from that Busted rubbish by now!), Madina Lake. Bring it on!
That's enough for now. I've got mischief to make, plans to sort and a beer (or four) with my name on it.
Peace, Love and Hark Rock

Red Bull is some crazy stuff. It might just affect me weird.
