Today my band got booked for two gigs at The Standard in London. Im so happy about it. The Standard has been my local music venue my whole life, and it has always been a cool ambition to play it. Its not even a massive venue or anything, but its a big deal to my town Walthamstow, and the music scene we have here. Its like the only place that has live bands round here. I cant wait to play the show next Thursday, I need to learn my lyrics again.
I spent the day handing demo's into pubs and venue's around East London. It was a long thing, but will be so worth it if we get some gigs out of it. Can't wait to have some fun and make some memories.
Apart from that I had work, which was a cool night. And now Im dreading trying to sleep for the next 8 hours and not getting any. I've gone 5 days without my sleeping pills and Im trying so hard to get my head together but its fucking hard.
