Well, x-mas has once again come and gone, and what has it shown us?
Well, in my case, it revealed the true meaning of x-mas: that getting shit is super cool. My apartment actually looks almost like a real home now, as I have a lamp, a new bedset, a kitchen table, and a chest of drawers that has yet to be assembled.
Mom came to visit and it was nice, as she's never been to Los Angeles and I got to show her around. We took an open-air bus tour on what was probably the coldest day that L.A. has had in quite some time, and I was freezing my extremities off the entire time. They gave us blankets. I don't like to imagine what it would have been like without them.
Now that she's left, though, it is quite nice to have the place to myself, now that it's starting to feel more like home. Pretty soon I'll have cable and internet and I won't have to sneak into the office or sit around coffee shops, as I am now, to check my internets and do all of that bidness.
Finally made it out to Club Suicide. Fun times, have to go back soon.
Now comes the tough decision about what to do to ring in the new year. The party in OC last year was fun, and part of me wants to strike out to Vegas this time, but I know it'll be such a massive clusterfuck around that time that I can't decide if it's worth the effort, not to mention the fact that I'll be stretching my bank account pretty thin trying to manage that, since I know I'll hit the craps tables and I have to assume I'll lose money (even though I probably won't. I'm good at craps, or at least I used to be). So... what to do... what to do...?

gangstaswan:
Find a job to work New Years and collect double or triple time (that's what I'm doing any way).
