Well, been a long weekend, actually got some things done, which is pretty new for me.
Went out to the White Horse on Thursday, met some wonderful folks from this site, and was quite happy to have done so. I hope to interact with these fine peoples again in the near future.
Friday, I actually had work, standing around the background of the show Chuck, which was nice since it's a show I actually watch, and met a lovely young extra with whom I exchanged phone numbers, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed there. Plus we were there for, I believe, 13 hours, so I should have garnered some overtime for that job, which I could definetly use.
Finally, today I was in a short film that my friend Tim was directing for the screenwriting program at USC. I played the Emperor from the Star Wars films, as the premise for the short was a scene that takes place between Empire and Jedi, where the plans are revealed to rebuild the Death Star, which Vader feels is very lazy but which the Emperor and everyone else seem to be pretty much alright with. It was quite funny and involved the use of a green-screen and some lite-brights. I'm quite excited about seeing how it turns out, as the dailies looked really good.
And that's my weekend.
