You know, I wish I did update more but unfortunately I don't really have much to say a lot of the time. I think I'll just ramble a bit about stuff.
Ok I went to an SG meet and it was good. However I had mate who had a birthday thing at exacty the same time so I took them to the same place because they were in Camden as well. That went alright although I had to keep tooiing and frowing between people because unfortunately Internet people and real-life people don't know each other and it's too much hard work for introductions. But it was fun although I got too drunk and spilt beer on myself.
Work at the bookshop is alright. I'm getting fed up of the stockroom abit although I have my own musical playlist. ( I was playing Madonna, The Smiths, Killswitch Engage and Fairlight Children, in that order). I think I'm annoying a couple of the older people with it but it's the only way I can get through the job of unpacking a million copies of the DiVinci Code. (Fuck people buy a lot of that bloody book. Apparently it's on the way to being the biggest seller behind the bible. I got bored after a couple of chapters) I am reading a Short History of nearly Everything by Bill Bryson and The Dice Man by Luke Rhineheart.
Dice Man is a good book. Imagine you used the roll of a dice to choose your destiny. For example, roll one and you talk to that cute girl who you've been eyeing up for a while. Roll 3 and you pinch her bottom. Roll 6 and you grab her tits. And you have to do it. The whole idea is that you form a new personality becausse these things you will not to do as a normal person. The Die is your morality and new religion. Shit, I wish I had the balls to do something like that but unfortunately to choose this way means that you cannot have a life that is said to be 'normal.' I hate 'normal'. But I've been brought up to be like the masses. I'm not likely to turn into a die rolling serial killer soon. Maybe when I'm 60.
Also reading a bit of manga as well. I downloaded Chobits which is wish fulfilment along the lines of 'Weird Science' where there are female androids which the population use as servants. Of course these girls are very cute. Of course these girls will do anything you say. However the story is about a romance between a geek and a pretty robot girl who he finds in a skip. When I was a horny and lonely kid I used to eat up stories like this because it meant that I could get a girlfriend some day. Now it's corny and slightly dirty, but hell, it's japanese. I like it. I like the humour. I like pretty cartoon girls. (My lady is very good at imitating these girls hehe...) Read Battle Royale as well. Now that's very violent and for some reason there were more panty shots than in the film. Again Japanese = Gratitous Panty Shots.
blah. XashX
