my music taste is evolving.
what were my first bands? well, first of all there was the glam rock, about 1989. bon jovi was big then and i was about 7 years old. i really didn't know any better. i just thought the were loud. i knew a guy who liked the cure, and tried to listen to them. they fucking terrified me and it's funny to think how i loved them so then.
i lost interest in music until i heard green day. when i heard 'basket case' my life changed. i think i took me away from the path of being a sensible young man itno somebody who was likely to dye my hair and have piercings. it was weird. i'm not sure why i love them and still do, but i guess it was because it was very loud and fast, but very hummable too.
then my nirvana phase came.. that was depressing. it was after cobain had died but all the guys were listening to 'cool' stuff like wu tang clan and hiphop. i was listening to unfashionable grunge and punk and this didn't help with the ladies of course- so i skateboarded. and i still believe this- from horniness comes a skater.
when to uni and this was when i met my goth friend joe, started taking pills and listening to electronic music. but it's strange. i still love my loud guitars, my punk, my now i need to go beep beep beep with depeche mode and covenant and. and i think that's the best place to be.
but i still and think i will always despise garage, rn'b and drum n' bass.
my brain never went 'bling bling'

He wasn't wearing make-up, which made him less recognisable... But he still had that unmistakeable hair.
