I'm dedicating today to getting some painting done but I promise I will be back on here starting Monday to get back to emails and everything else

I've started a new very exciting project! I thought I'd put a little more emphasis on making the subject darker as I love macabre and dark things At the moment I'm fairly new at oil painting and feel most comfortable using reference images for practice until I become comfortable enough with the medium. I am using a very cool image by Josh Crockett, an artist who makes stunning digital interpretations of monster faces.



I've sketched it out and started adding the ink today.





but for now I think I will try finishing the other painting I currently have in the works. Sadly I do not know who the photographer is for this image but I found it one day while lurking around Tumblr and thought it would make a cute painting
