strange day, father's day, and sometimes it is hard when you're kids are grown and you are far from them and there is some barrier.....but if you let that anxiety out it will eat you alive, so you just bite the bullet and taste the poison, it can kill, but not all at once death, more like a slow, extended death spasm that shakes the birds out of the trees and sends time into stillness....and that is how you wait it out, under full moons on the beach burning driftwood and cannibus flowers until the past marching of years at least has to respect the fact that you survived and you can catch your breath in the mornin' mist and pass through the gates of redemption once more, only they don't throw a parade when you come through anymore, it is glorious nonetheless....the full moon was good and the ocean has been nice but i miss the desert and a dip in the hotsprings, and soon i will be up in portland and i will have a whole new banquet of experience and event to feast on, the slower i get get the tougher my meat becomes, that darwin is a riot with that survival theory, everything must become fit or pass, and if you don't take the chance you will never know your own survivability...
