Time seems to go by so fast if you don't take a moment to see what is going on. Well it has been over a month since I have really logged in and said hi and given an update on what has been going on in my life. It is interesting when I look at my priorities and what I do every day and how much I get done towards my goals. There are so many things that I so long to do in this world and yet some projects seem to go faster then others. I wonder why that is. I have a couple projects that seem to creep and creep despite my strong desire to actually see them accomplished. Anyways, enough about what I want to do here is an update about what has happened.
First and foremost I want to say that I have finally sold and closed on my old house. I can't even begin to explain how much my life has changed over the last year. At the time, my girlfriend and I talked about buying a new house together. We thought it would be a great way to build an environment in which to start a family. During the financial planning part of the new house I thought that I might have to pay a double mortgage for a couple months. That just goes to show you that no matter how much planning you actually have real life loves to throw you curve balls. My old house ended up being on the market for 14 months with 10 of those being double mortgage payments. I couldn't even fathom 10 double mortgage payments a year ago. Well now it is all over and how do I feel? There is a huge sense of relief that things can now start getting back to normal. I have worried about this thing for so long that I feel drained. Its now time to start moving forward and getting back to the things that I find important in life. Having a lot of worry is definitely not good for the soul.
I have wrote many times in the past about my landscaping woes with my new house. Well they still continue to this day. When I was writing more frequently I often spoke of landscapers not calling me back for one reason or the other. Well now I have paid someone and he is currently 7 weeks behind schedule. I am still having problems getting work done and it is frustrating. Fortunately there was actual progress last week. The patio is almost done and all that will be left is the sprinkler system and then the actual grass and bushes. I am hoping that it is all done this week.
I have a new girlfriend. I decided to take a stab at Match.com and see if I could meet anyone interesting. I signed up and after a couple weeks I was somewhat disappointed. I found the experience on the site to be slightly awkward but I continued to have high hopes and stuck with it. If you have never been on Match.com before then let me tell you that there are a TON of people on it. I spent a decent amount of time looking through profiles and I emailed a couple of people. Then one day, out of the blue, one of the people that I emailed sent me a message back. We started talking and now we have been seeing each other for the last 2 months. This woman is really awesome and she makes me so happy. There is such a chemistry between us that I constantly long to be with her. I hope to see her today!
Well that was a small update I am going to start making more time for this blog because I really liked writing it. As stresses continue to lessen in my life I want to make sure that I have time for all the things I need to do!
