There is a ghost in my bed. Where there was once love there is only evanescence. I am uncertain how one can go from totally in love to what it is now... whatever it is.

Today was relaxing, my first day of vacation. I lounged around the house enjoying the hot weather. I found out that two of my good friends are leaving work. It really sucks but I am happy for them to find better jobs. There is a hope that they can throw me some side work that may help ease my financial burdens while I am selling my old house. We will see how it goes, keep your fingers crossed for me.

I took my dog to Petsmart today and the first thing he does is run in and poop on their floor. It was rather amusing. I bought him some new chew toys and some treats that he likes because he was all out. He was so happy that he had his head in the bag the entire time home. Since I wanted to stop for dinner I had to put his new treats in the trunk so that he wouldn't keep trying to steal them.

I gave him one of the treats when we got home, a stick with meat in it, and he ate the WHOLE thing. I think he is a bit sick now because he is laying down. poor puppy.
