Nephew is being rushed to the hospital, from Lake Isabella to Madera Hospital. I am not sure of his condition but as he is only 27 days old I assume it isn't good. His white cell count is high (55,000), his eyes were crossed and he was having muscle spasms, apparently they think it's spinal meningitis which his sister and I both had at a young age. When I get more details from my family I am planning to go down there for moral support.
Update Edit:
I got a hold of my brother, my Nephew has a blood clot in his brain and they don't want to use blood thinners as it may cause further complications. They are talking of taking him from the Madera Hospital to the San Fransisco Hospital 3 1/2 hours north for better care. He has told me not to go down as he doesn't see how I can help and they only allow two people in the boys room at a time anyway.
At the hospital in Lake Isabella the ambulance driver told my brother he couldn't travel with his son and that he shouldn't try and pace the ambulance as the cops will still pull him over. So my brother headed down the hill before they left with his girlfriend and just TORE the 2 1/2 hours north to the hospital his son was being taken to and beat the ambulance there.
Further Update Edit:
My Nephew is headed now to UCSF, he should be here already, my brother is driving up. I will see him in the hospital tomorrow. They say he does not have meningitis as they feared but has an abnormal blood vessel which was the cause of the bleed and now clot. He has been moved here as they have a better treatment center of this. My Aunt and Uncle have offered their home to my Brother and his Girl while they are up here and I hope they take them up on it. I am hoping this is good news for my Nephew but as I was not on the phone I cannot tell if it is.

They found out what the problem is. It was extremely sensitive but it wasn't a medical cause. They are now treating with knowledge of what they are treating. I will update if he makes it or not, but not of the nature of what happened.
