Oh man, I guess this will my only August blog unless I magically decide to blog tomorrow. I will be lazy and do a listing update. I kept procrastinating updating and now I feel overwhelmed with all I have to tell people.
- My mom visited for a few days. We did a bunch of running around, visited some famil.y so we could sip on Sangria and take a much needed dip in their gorgeous pool and also applied for a brand new passport on my worst hair day ever!
- Have seen a bunch of movies... so many in fact that I got to spend my first 1000 Scene points of a free viewing of Captain America. Also saw Aliens Vs, Cowboys and Rise of the Planet of the Apes. All of which I enjoyed if for no other reason than enjoyment. I also give kudos to my mom for sitting through Captain America, her first ever superhero type of movie which I don't think is her cup of tea and some things she didn't understand like the Stark reference and the appearance of Sammy J and who he was in the whole scheme of the movie.
- Went to an awesome bachelorette party and got very awesomely drunk while i performed certain dares such as "Have a guy bend you over his knee and spank you" and "Dance with the oldest guy at the bar as well as "Dance with a married guy". the married guy was an amazing dancer. I kept stepping on his feet and of course I asked his wife first and she was more than happy to oblige. His wife and his friends all clapped at the end of the dance.
- Later attended a wedding for the couple of which the female had the crazy bachelorette party. They had a "Nightmare Before Christmas" wedding cake also decorated with Corpse bride figurines. i wish I had gotten a a picture and the husband's metal band played a few songs. He got out of his suit as soon as possible and then rocked out.
Other than that I have been just job hunting and unemployment has been devastatingly boring. I do have an interview though tomorrow at Sears working at the Clinique makeup counter which I could see myself loving to do since I love makeup and working with makeup. Also has something to do with what I want to do ultimately. We'll see if anything comes of the interview but her is hoping. I really need o find a job and soon. I am losing count of all the ones I have applied for and it really sucks when I apply for something and then 2 weeks later after no contact they advertise for the job again. Also most of the jobs that are advertised right now are only part time. I can't live off of part time work and to have a second job is to be very flexible and incredibly organized with a job that allows you to be flexible and organized on your part and theirs. Anyway enough of that because I"m sure there are many of you in the same position as myself and I don't want to constant complain about being unemployed because chances are once I get a job I will constantly complain about said job. Seriously if I can't vent here where can I vent?
In other news, this October I will be turning a quarter century. Scary! Meanwhile Geoff grumbles about being over 30 whenever i mention my impending birthday. That's all I really had to say about my birthday.
Anyway anything else I had planned to tell you about has now escaped me and I promise to be more frequent with blogs and not just post once a month.
Love you all!
Hugs and
