I figured since it is almost the end of march I should post again. I also got many comments just yesterday on my last post which was pretty much 3 weeks ago but nice that people are always checking in, sending me kisses and well wishes and just catching up. I love reading all your comments and love catching up with all of you.
I am super excited to see all of you other Canadians at the Gala this year again. I know it is like over 2 months away but I had such a blast last time and this time around Geoff and I won't have to wander the night streets of Toronto for the entire night until the bus station opens in the morning to go home. If my boss at the hotel books in another Hampton Inn or Hilton, because I am employed by Hilton I would get a hotel room for as low as $30.00/night. I don't know if the price is that low but it wouldn't be too much higher which means Geoff and I could live it up if only for a weekend.
Other good news... I only have to go to the hospital once a week now! Yay! I mean it doesn't hurt anymore. The incision just still has to fully close up so that is why they are continuing to monitor it. I just want the whole thing to be behind me and hopefully to never have to deal with it again!
Geoff and I talked some more about the whole moving in together thing. Like I mentioned in my last blog, I know he at least wants to in the future and for right now that is good enough for me. Finding a place to live is easy and if I could afford to live alone I would however I am poverty line here and most places that I could live in I would need a roommate. Now finding a roommate is the hard part. here is hoping I don't have to move and that someone will answer the many ads I will be putting up shortly to live with me and hopefully my landlords will approve of them. That's the other hard part! I am just so sick of moving. 5 times in 5 years is too many. I just want to stay in 1 place for longer than year!
Work is still consuming my life but at least I am enjoying it. I mean it is not the highlight of my day but it's not something I dread either and I am getting the hours I need, etc. However I am obsessing over money right now, mainly because of the things I want. I want new Birkenstock sandals which will cost a fortune because I only know of 1 store that carries them (my old shoe store). I even looked online and couldn't find the style I was looking for. I am guessing they are a last season style or something. Maybe they are sold out? I don't know.
I also would love to get my 2 half sleeves done. I am way too impatient on that front. At the same time I know what I want yet am reluctant to rush into anything. With my last 2 tattoos, they were small and easy and I got a local artist to do them but if I want sleeves done I would like to find an artist I can trust and work with and who i can be sure will do a great job, one that I will be happy with obviously because this is permanent ink on my body. I don't know how one goes about finding a good artist. I will have to see if there is information about that in the Tattoo group.
I also at some point want to get my hair done. It is growing much too slowly for my liking. I just want to be able to put it in a ponytail for heaven's sake. I am waiting until I can cut all the black dye out of it and have it still be fairly long and then of course I want to go back to red and trying to do another colour over black is just impossible and I really rather not bleach my hair again unless I have to. Whatever the case it will be red for the Gala (a tame red because of work). After all I did take out my eyebrow piercing for them which seemed excessive but oh well. I plan on being there for a while so let's hope it is worth it. I can always re pierce it later on.
Anyway I am droning on about stuff that most of you probably don't care about too much. My life and thoughts... sooo boring I know! I'm not making any promises but I will try to update more often. Like i said before work is consuming my life and when I am not working I am usually sleeping!
Spring is here! I can't wait to get outside and take some pictures!
I love you all!

YES! It has to be great, coming from such a genius. After ripping off Forever Knight, World of Darkness (twice), and Sonja Blue, she finally got around to Anne Rice. Maybe she saw that "I am second" ad Rice did, and remembered that Rice wrote about the change from human to vampire. Meyer only works territory explored by others, so now she is writing about this.
Apparently, her last book, which is just another Invasion of the Body Snatchers, did not do well. So she will try to get people to remember her by writing a novella that will be free on her web site.
I have written on vampires. I imagine you might have, as well. I am so much more original than her. I am not tooting my own horn, as it would be hard to be less original.
Have fun at the Gala in two months. Take lots of pictures, and tell us stories! Some of us have girlfriends named Aisha who will not let us attend SG events.
I have to apologize for being so out of touch. I sometimes disappear for awhile.
I'm really excited that you'll be going to the gala again. I look forward to actually speaking to you this year, instead of just admiring you from afar. Keep an eye for details of the pre-gala dinner, and the post-gala brunch. I went to the dinner two years ago and it was fun. But I went to the brunch last year, and it was great, even though I got a parking ticket cuz it took so long.
Congratulations on the new job!! I know you didn't like the shoe store job. And it's fantastic that you found the job so quickly.
Sorry to hear you got this awful infection. I did read the spoiler, and the Wikipedia entry too. Yikes!!
And I'm sorry that you'll have to move again. Though I know your landlords were driving you nuts. As for Geoff not wanting to move in with you, well, I have my own theory, but then I don't actually know him, and you know him well, so we'll stick with your opinion.
I'm going to try to keep up with people's blogs more often. But I know from experience that I can't promise anything.
