Today has just been effin crazy. I'm getting up and getting ready this morning to go to my follow up appointment with my surgeon. I get a text message from a friend.

"Do you remember Shawn from school?"

Yeah hes a great guy...love him to death...always says hi never acts like a jerk...why

"He died in a car accident"

So of course I'm bawling my eyes out trying to get ready for my appt.

I go to the doctor and find out my wound has healed miraculously and I am now allowed to return to work, school and life as we know it. Great.

I get another next.
"Thank God its wasnt our Shawn, it was someone else with the same name"

*sigh of relief* but someone elses Shawn is gone..how could I dare feel relieved at someone elses death...

Life is a strange mystery...
