I finally decided what I was going to cover up my ankle tattoo with and thought I'd share my excitement by letting you guys know!
So first of all, I don't hate my current ankle tattoo. It has a significant meaning to me and it isn't ugly. But it's so plain and boring. It was one of my first tattoos and it was before I started branching out and getting more creative with my design choices. It's a small black silhouette of a hummingbird. The hummingbird represents a medical condition I have called tachycardia, which just means my heart beats much faster than a normal persons. Although the hummingbird has a rapid heartbeat, that doesn't stop it and it is still able to live a fulfilling and beautiful life. Here is a picture of the tattoo:
See it's cute and simple but not exactly my style anymore. So I'm going to my artist who specializes in anime and having her do her own version of Black Lady from sailor moon! It will cover the entire top of my foot and go up my ankle. This is the what the character looks like:
She won't look exactly like this because I'm planning in asking my artist to do her in her own style, but that's the basic idea! What do you guys think? :) I can't wait!
