so apparently i am an "i saw you" in the mercury this week. unless there is another blonde girl with the same tattoos who went to the same coffeeshop on the same day. i have a secret admirer. or a stalker.
the "i saw you" ads are cute and all, but i started thinking: "why are people so evasive about attraction and relationships?". i'm probably one of the worst offenders. i beat around the proverbial bush for months, doing the quasi-interested dance. it's self preservation more then anything, really. so when it ends i can laugh it off. but how do we ever go anywhere if we never get out of first gear?
question:
how do you walk that fine line between too much and not enough?

Alas, I'm the wrong person to answer your question. My speciality is the ambiguous "is this is a date or not?" outing; I never like to clarify things because I'm sacred of what the answer might be. When I had a temporary crush recently, a mutual friend asked if I had talked to her about it, and I looked at her as if she was crazy--why would I do that??? Obviously, that's pathological to some degree, but as you say it is a dilemma; getting rejected all the time isn't exactly a boon to mental health either.
Of course, since you're obviously aces, there's no dilemma in your case--I say go for it, the world is your oyster.
Things to do? Right. I think I'll play on SG for a while longer.
That rules that you are in the "I saw you" ads.
I read those religiously every week. It's kicks ass!
To answer your question: Money.
Money determines if I walk the line between too much and not enough.
