I'm home. Thank fucking Christ.
I spent last night in Vegas due to the ineptitude of America West airlines. I stayed at a casino/ hotel called (swear to god) Terrible's. It was nasty. Vegas is nasty in general. I can see a certain kitsch factor, but the neon and the stale cigarette smoke must get old after a while. I got a nice pep talk from my friend Liz while I was waiting for my ride at the airport, so I feel pretty secure about my decision to leave Gloucester.
So now I have to do the following things:
1. Find a job, pay my debts, save some cash.
2. Find a place to live.
3. Find some more friends (cause I love the ones I have here but you can never have too many) and a boy to play with (preferably cute and tattooed).
4. Study for the GRE's and apply to grad school for the fall of 2004.
5. Go get my doctorate and be a tweedy academic.
6. Live happily ever after.
