If there is one thing I hate most of all in this world, it's looking for a job. I hate feeling like all my hard work and education and internships were for nothing. I hate temp agencies and typing tests. I hate having to present myself and schmooze and namedrop. And I hate being unemployed and running out of money and stressing about that.
Anyway....
I really like Boston, however. Gloucester is nice enough, but Boston is a cool town. I loved going to school here, and I think being a grownup here could be fun. Funny story...after much pavement pounding, I crossed the chuck to the People's Republic of Cambridge and walked down Mass Ave. I stopped to check my email at the MIT library (I still have my undated Wellesley ID; cheap movies for me til I'm 30!) and when I came out I saw the fuck truck. The fuck truck, for those non Bostonians out there, is the bus that ferries Wellesley grrls to Harvard and MIT. It was pretty funny to see little MIT frat boys hopping on to go try to get some action at the big WC. God, I miss college.
