Well I am still sick, but I got over the being grouchy and fussy part of it. I decided that it really wasn't worth my time to be annoying and bitch about the fact I am sick...so now I am turning all that annoyance in on my illness in hopes that it will go away faster that way. I have drunk enough Echinacea tea to start sprouting the stuff out of my ears.
I finally went and got my Driver's license. The damn thing cost me $40! I was totally not expecting it to cost that much. I usually have to pay maybe $20 in Ohio when I get a new one. Damn government!
I also talked to the lady at the spa and it seems that I will have a job for at least a couple of weeks to get the spa moved to their new location and if I make myself indispensable it could be for longer once they figure out how many people they are going to need to work the desk. The other random job that she offered for me to consider is being a nail tech. Which to me is HIGHLY amusing cause I am completely NOT a girlie girl...I can't paint my own nails to save my life well that's not true...if it truly was for saving my life I probably could do it without getting a drop of paint on me. But I have never really been into all the pamper yourself stuff until the last year or so and now it looks like I am not only going to know how to do the stuff but get paid for it too. Great amounts of fun. I figure I will try and learn as much of the spa industry as I can because it will make it even easier for me to get a job knowing several different services. We also talked about the whole opare thing which it turns out is only Monday - Thursday evenings and some mornings just hanging out with Josh (the kid) and making sure he gets home and fed and stuff like that. It doesn't HAVE to be a live in thing so that's cool. So the only issue I have now is that I have no car and therefore can't get out there to do said job. *shrugs* if it was meant to be I am sure some sort of transportation will pop up.
I finally finished my sweater! It only took me 3 weeks or so and that was with not working on it every day so it really didn't take me that long at all! I will have to take pictures of it...not that you guys are really interested in it but I think it's cool that I can actually make a complete piece of clothing out of yarn. But we have already covered that I am a crazy person.
Well I need to go shopping for the rest of my brother's B-day present given that his birthday is tomorrow! I hope all is well with y'all.
1) What band do you think comes closest to producing true music? (You know music that makes your heart ache because it is so perfectly on pitch and amazing.)
A: I'm gonna have to go with Dead Can Dance.
2) Silver or gold jewelry?
A: silver...I look wicked silly in gold.
3) Whats one of your favorite childrens books?
A: the first that came to my head even though there are tons of them cause yes I am obsessed with kids' books...Gregory, the Terrible Eater.
