Let me tell you how glad I am that most of my friends are older than me...I had to go shopping with one of my younger friends today for a suit. It was a nightmare. For starters, she is a fashion merchandising major...which if you don't know the nature of that beast allow me to explain...Fashion majors are some of the only people on earth who have the ability to wear all those unique creations that grace the runways. They have this unnatural ability to pull, cut, rip, snag and do all sorts of random things to completely normal clothes and have them actually work pretty well together. So it's always an experience to go shopping with her cause she pulls some of the most godawful clothing off the racks (and then to make it worse it looks damn good on her! grrrrr ). So we had to wander around and look at actual grown-up "hi I am going to an interview for a real job" suits and then wander into the juniors section because the other suits were "too old", "didn't look good", and "too thick". She knew this without trying any of them on. So she ended up getting two suits that are identical except for their color...I sometimes wonder if she has a severe case of shopping A.D.D. though cause I had to make her to focus on the task at hand at all times cause if I looked away she would be looking at purses or the latest styles of watches or some other thing that wasn't the suits that she needed to have by this week. It makes me very glad that I am not into the latest fashions. So it was an...interesting day...
If I was a smart monkey, I would have set my altar up when I moved back here...I feel much more grounded and centered now that I have a base to work from again.

You haven't set up your altar yet? tsk tsk tsk.
