So last night I was attacked... by my boyfriend... in his sleep. I remember having the tail end of a dream, and in the dream I'm reaching over to put my hand around him while he is lying on his back. I suddenly wake up with his hand around my wrist, gripping it so tightly it almost hurts as I'm trying to push down to give him a hug.

At first I think its still the dream, and I push against him. He retaliates, pushes back my arm so far until his elbow is digging into the middle of my chest. Now I know its not a dream because it really hurts. I look up at him, and his eyes are open and he looks mad. I say "Sweetie!?" he sort of grunts "What?" "You're hurting me!" I say. Finally he lets go, and when I still try to put my arm around him, he looks like he's going to attack me.

Needless to say I was pretty damn freaked out and a little scared. I almost felt like leaving the bed and going to the living room, but I knew he was likely asleep through the whole thing.

This morning when I asked him if he remembered anything, he said no. Not only that but it took me a good while to convince him that I wasn't dreaming.

I still had the sore spot on my chest where his elbow was digging in, but it went away. Whats worrying me now is the fact my eyeball is really sore... although I'm sure thats my fault from sleeping funny...
