the air in london today is perfectly soft and warm.
sometimes when its too hot here, you can almost feel the pavement vibrating and radiating waves of something that is indescribably 'london'. something from beneath the ground, that lets you know how confining london can be and how many people have walked over that exact spot. something mysterious and desperate.
but i cant feel this certain energy today. everything is far too subtle. the air is far too perfect. on days like this you cant sense any of the desperation or sadness that london can sometimes reek of.
i may just feel like that because i've been around soho too long. trying to work there right now is proving difficult. im tired of men asking if they can take me home for a certain price. im tired of listening to strippers discuss how many lines of coke they can do before they won't be able to perform properly.
that and the clock in the dressing room says sex 'o clock. how perfect is that....?

I'm sorry you must suffer through the things the latter half of your entry describes. While I have not experienced them myself, they sound rather unpleasant. I dearly hope you get the chance to try somewhere new. I mean no disservice to London, but no one whould be stuck in any one place they' feel they've been in for too long. At the very least, I wish you enough days that feel like this one did so that the negative emotion never overwhelm you.

That just right type of air is what makes the peonies so perfect I think. Everything you write is so illustrative and magnetic.
