Four hours, $1300, and a shitload of driving around later, I now have a Canon EOS 300D.

In black. I'm so goth/emo/alt. Not really, it's all they had, but I'd take it over the silver anyway.

Finished Lullaby. Good book. You should read it (again).

Well that's it. Life's pretty stale and slow right now. Should pick up Monday with school again.

How are you?

Yep I work at both, The skate shop I work at is actaully owned by Eric Grisham, that's right the guy that "invented" the varial hahaha

At my skate shop we sell a bunch of band shirts and hats along with skate junk. Half the time when the store isn't busy since i am the manager I sit on the couch and play tekken 5.

edited to add: I love film cameras...digital cameras are rad and all but there is nothing like printing out your own pictures in a darkroom.

Found Lullaby captivating?? Have you read any of the others? I pretty much read them one right after the other because I couldn't get enough.

Lullaby by Chuck Palahnuik is a very addictive book.

Quite addictive.

I was going to write a journal entry, but I think I'll read that instead.
jj_r0x0rz:
This is true that book is very addictive, don't go repeating that culling song...people might fall dead around you.

To tell you the truth I don't know if I was or not, I know I have been in their mag before because I got my hair cut by duane peters, and I also go to the ASR Tradeshow twice every year and get pictures taken there as well.

Not to mention I work at a skate park and follow my skate pals around whenever they go to a pool or a pipe taking pictures with my manual camera, so the possibility of me being in one of their issues is pretty good.

If you happen to have the pictures could you show me somehow?

I don't really ever get to see myself in mags, but people always tell me I was in one.

thanx for asking though, have a good one.

thanx that would be great if you could.

Back at TAFE. Woo.

In fact, tonight I had an awesome new class with an awesome teacher. Creative writing with an old biker dude, with a HUGE beard on him, who encourages us to shoplift our reference material.

It's going to be a gooooood semester.

I found Scrumpy Jack too. If none of you have ever had this, go and find it. Best. Cider. Ever....

Alright you.

Yes, YOU!

Convince me what to do.

I'm super keen-o on expanding my photography hobby, and I'll have to since it's part of my media course this semester. Now, the convincing starts here.

I'm a lover of film. I love it. It's just so damn cool. Hence all I've worked with so far is 35mm with my 35yr old Minolta SLR. I got...

Called out?? No just found out. I'm now addicted to browsing too...

As for the camera experiences, I'm pretty much an addict too. To film that is. I love having such a permanent, 3D record of the shots that I've taken. That is until I went out on a whim last year and bought myself a Canon Digital Rebel.
To tell you the truth I was in alittle over my head. But after a years worth of practice I'm starting to get the hang of it. So, like any good photophile would do I went out and bought myself a new camera this year for my b-day. The new Canon PowerShot. AWSOME FUCKING CAMERA!! eeek
I give you dirty details if you wish...

Another bloody bombing.

I guess you can't call it much of a bombing, since (thankfully) the casualties were super low.

But really the biggest news out of London for me was the cricket. I can't believe I stayed up til 3am watching it. Worth it too. Final ball wicket by Lee. HUZZAH!

I wish NIN would announce their opening act(s) for Sydney. It's driving me...

Well, boarding yesterday was a fucking fiend.

So much blue sky added with so much snow that I had no idea what to do with any of it. Went with a guy from work and just had a ball. He claims that we were clearing 30ft gaps on one run, but as much as I'd like to buy it, I don't think so. 20ft, maybe.......

Let me tell you about my last four hours...

It all started by waking up to the (very loud) sounds of Jay and the Doctor on Triple J. Always good for an early morning laugh.

Get out of bed, find a Pain au Chocolate sitting outside for me for breakfast.

Watch DVS's Skate More on DVD and get psyched to go for my first skate...
