Alright you.
Yes, YOU!
Convince me what to do.
I'm super keen-o on expanding my photography hobby, and I'll have to since it's part of my media course this semester. Now, the convincing starts here.
I'm a lover of film. I love it. It's just so damn cool. Hence all I've worked with so far is 35mm with my 35yr old Minolta SLR. I got great pictures from this beast, somre really amazing shots when I went around the globe last year. Unfortunately, it met my skateboard whilst it sat on the top of a quater pipe and I lost control coming out of said quarter pipe and the camera hasn't been the same since.
So in short, I need a new camera.
Now, do I bite the bullet, and upgrade to digital (because no matter how cool I may think film is, digital is fucking awesome and uber-convienient), or do I keep pretending I can be old school and buy a new SLR and a scanner? I also have shit all fucking money if that helps.
Personal experiences? Let me know what you've got going on.
I start back at school tomorrow. Woooooooooooop. I'm actually looking forward to it though. It's been too long.

As for the camera experiences, I'm pretty much an addict too. To film that is. I love having such a permanent, 3D record of the shots that I've taken. That is until I went out on a whim last year and bought myself a Canon Digital Rebel.
To tell you the truth I was in alittle over my head. But after a years worth of practice I'm starting to get the hang of it. So, like any good photophile would do I went out and bought myself a new camera this year for my b-day. The new Canon PowerShot. AWSOME FUCKING CAMERA!!
I give you dirty details if you wish...
