Our second PhD researcher arrives from Athens in the next couple of days. Today I was making sure that we had his network account and all of his access rights set up. The last time I was in Athens I was chased by pack of wild dogs. Absolutely true. You just dont think that stuff like this happens in modern big cities, but it does. Our man Panos seems to have had no such trouble. I guess he has the subdue animal skill, or something. Or praps I was just unlucky and wandered onto the wrong bit of wasteland. Who knows?

I like the Apocalypse Now references in your profile. I avoided being chased by dogs when I was in Athens, but I avoided most of the sketchy parts of town for the two days I was there.
