A story...
So there I was driving home on a Friday afternoon. It's bad enough that I have an hour commute, but the fact that I live on a hill with a stop sign at the bottom means you really can't get the speed you want going up or coming down.
So I do my usual rolling stop and happen to look over my shoulder as I hit the gas only to see a motorcycle cop waiting there. Knowing what'sabout to happen I pull over and do the usual thing...license, registration, prove of insurance...
And as the cop starts talking I realize that I'm not getting as pissed off as I should be. Looking this guy over I can't help but smile to myself...short and I mean really short, with that mustache that only cops and gay men seem to have, speaking with a lisp as readable as the stop sign I rolled through, here was a cop that just could not project an ounce of authority or respect.
And so with our business done, I drove home thinking of the police officer whose entire day was probably worse than the ticket that couldn't faze me.
The End
