"Your Happiness"
by: AC
My eyes haven't the perception to see your beauty.
My ears not the sensitivity to hear your voice.
My tongue does not serve to form words with my lips, least none that capture your glory.
I am struck dumb by your greatness, blinded by your light.
Yet you are not satisfied.
Take my fingers, unable to touch you for fear of tarnishing your perfect skin.
Take my heart, unable to contain the fullness of my love for you.
Take my soul, a dim shadow in your radiance.
Still, you're not happy.
What do you require? What have I to give that you want?
Take my hands, my toes, my hair or my skin.
I would give all of myself to make you smile for just one second.
But you want more, and more. Always more.
It's never enough.
You'll take all I have to offer, then swear that I don't love you.
You'll suck me dry, and cry that you're still thirsty.
You'll eat my flesh, and scream that you hunger for more.
I know that I can never satisfy your cravings.
I still try, though. For your happiness is all that I long for.

Goddamn. Sometimes I'm so fucking goth that I want to shoot myself.
