So I spent the weekend out of town, TOTALLY out of my element. I watched reality TV and took care of a 2 month old baby for an entire weekend. And I LOVED it! He's adorable, I'll have a few pics soon that his mother took. Unfortunately, I can't seem to be able tot ake a good picture to save my life lately. I'm tempted to blame the camera, but I'm sure it's user error.
On the way back Sunday night, my blood sugar spiked, and it spiked BAD. I had to stop at the first rest stop I saw and take some insulin, hoping that it would level out. It did, but it went from uber-high to low end of normal rather quickly, so I had nausea and chest pains on Sunday night from the shock. Fortunately, that's all subsided. Today was a nightmare, though. IT problems, far less accomplished schoolwork than I wanted, and to top it all off, I couldn't attend a meet organized by my best friend (which sucks balls).
This week is going to be incredibly stressful. This could be semester breaking if I don't hand in my work. I need to draft a budget so I don't drive my finances into the ground by Christmas.
Oh, some more good news. I'm one step closer to dental surgery. Now, although that doesn't sound like fun (and it won't be), it means I'll be taking THE hugest step towards getting all my dental work done. 9 teeth removed, including all 4 wisdom teeth. They're putting me under with the good druge, and I already have someone to take care of me post-massacre.
More good news: my laptop is almost working as it should. And all it took was 10 hours work today.
Oh, my obligatory question: If you had to pick a song that reminded you of me, what would it be?

Hey, I spent the whole weekend out of town totally out of my element too and my drive home was not so pleasant either. I didn't have anything as drastic as an insulin crash happen, but I did have a bit of an anxiety attack-I feel your pain! How's your cute cute kitty?
