It's Monday, I'm exhausted, and I shold be in school today. Stupid work, slow with the schedule. Argh.
Anyhoo, interesting weekend. Friday was uneventful and mostly involved music and cleaning my apartment (I truly love Slacker.com). Saturday I had a few friends over and proceeded with the following, in this order:
- beer
- nachos
- beer
- good company, music
- beer
- tequila
- steak on the BBQ
- Tequila (at this point, just taking swigs from the bottle. I was no longer able to pour safely)
- People left
- Breakdown
- Passed out
Wait... Breakdown. Ok, that needs explanation. After everyone went home, and I was home alone basking in my drunknness, I TOTALLY lost it. I'm not entirely sure why, but I spent a good solid hour hunched over in my computer chair, crying. It was the weirdest thing. Fortunately, I had a friend who came onto MSN at that exact time, and when I told her, she called me and we talked it out for an hour or so. A mother of 2 stayed up at 1 AM to call me and make sure I was ok. That's the kind of friends I have. I is one lucky SOB.
Of course, after all that, I could no longer remain conscious, and passed out at my computer, falling asleep in my chair. I even missed a phone call at 2 AM from someone particularly important because my phone didn't wake me up (despite the fact that it was on max volume and 3 feet from my head). I'm still sorting out what happened and why (reconstructing events from my drunken stupor). I will let you all know when I figure something out.
Sunday involved mostly recovering from my hangover. Whatever made me crack on Saturday night is apparently behind me, whatever it was. After re-hydrating and getting rid of that nasty headache, I just crashed in my chair and put on a movie. I HIGHLY recommend Hot Fuzz. I was sceptical after Shaun of the Dead, but this is SO much better. I also had a very pleasing IM conversation with someone special... FOR 5 F'ING HOURS! *swoon*
Oh, and thank you to the people who posted their "3 words to describe me" on my last post. T'was fun to read
Alright, time for me to get this day started.
