how sad is it for you to try and take your own life
and fail so terribly
You've tried so hard to lead your life in the right direction
but it takes you only to dead ends
walls built so high there is no top to them
above the edge is black and filled with misery

sometimes I feel as though Im better off this way
don't pretend you have it all
there is nothing here for you
just face your self
just face yourself

You tell yourself lies and every day it only gets worse
you would rather burn your own flesh than tell the truth
the light begs you but you only turn away
is there a god or only prayers people say
you hope for so much but just turn away
together we can fake this so well
