Oh boy! Our blog homework this week was to name 13 of your favorite horror movies. I decided to elaborate as to why on a few of them; some I love just because, and other's are just plain terrifying. I cannot bear to put these in any particular order, so let's get spooky!
The Haunting in Connecticut
House of 1000 Corpses/Devil's Rejects: Uuuggh. There's just something to love about Rob Zombie movies. I love the gore, the shock value and just the family that these movies have created.
Friday the 13th
Night of the Living Dead/Dawn of the Dead: George Romero is hands down one of my favorite horror directors. These make my list because I loved watching them with my Dad as a kid; who is probably the reason I'm such a morbid girl today.
The Shining: Heeeeeeere's Johnny! Is it weird that I totally would want to stay in room 237, and since I live in Colorado; that's completely possible! (adding that to my bucket list! 💡new blog topic!)
Carrie
Army of Darkness
Saw: There's something haunting in the realness you face when you watch any of these. They definitely make you reflect in yourself as a whole. The gore is enough to make my stomach turn just thinking about it!
Alien
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: I enjoyed the remake! This one is scary because it's something that could potentially happen!
Wrong Turn: Another movie that gets me because of fact that this could happen. Always a secret road trip fear!
The Last House on the Left
Darkness Falls: This one fu*ked me up! I remember watching it as a kid when it came out, and I couldn't sleep for days. The dark still creeps me out, and I definitely make haste to get back in the light.
Now it's your turn! Tell me a couple of your favorites! What scary movie should I check out? I'm loving this beer and chocolate cake combo, definitely helped the writing process.💋
