Early this afternoon, I got a call from the president of an animal rescue association. We talked a bit, she asked me some things about me and how I live etc... And then we agreed to meet later today at my place so she could check out if it would fit for the doggo.
She came a bit late (I was SO stressed I cleaned my apartment like never 😂) but she was really nice and talked me through everything I need to know about Cesar. She made a couple calls to a volunteer and the owner of the animal shelter where he's currently at (the same shelter where I went a couple months ago!) and as they're opened tomorrow, at 2pm I'll be there and meet the dog!
After this I'll have to come see him a few more times so hopefully he'll get used to me, and if there's a spark (mostly from his part since I'm sure I'll love him 😋) I'll get to keep him as a host family and after some time, if everything goes well, adopt him!
I'm both super excited and anxious because he has a bad past and I don't know if he'll like me... But I wish so.
