So yesterday I went to get a brand new tattoo- my first one since October . The artist is Samantha Pixie Robson on Instagram and she is talented at anime Disney and Studio Ghibli art- I knew she was the right artist to take on this concept! The characters pictured are Madoka and Homura from the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica; if you haven't seen it it's about a girl (Madoka) who is approached by a strange creature who offers to make her a magical girl in return for her service fighting witches. After a dark sequence of events threatens Madoka's life, Homura does her very best to defend her and the lesbian subtext in their relationship is pretty darn obvious!
I thought that it would be cute to bring them together in this tattoo and I'm honestly in love with it! I hope you are too 💓
